To celebrate the restoration of the lake island in Lordship Rec Beneath the Surface is a live shadow show about a small boy who dreams that he enters a picture of a pond and shrinks to the size of an insect. Announcing. . . the formation of the Lordship Wildlife Group
As users of the Rec will know, the Park is an incredible green space in the heart of urban Tottenham, home to an astonishing array of wildlife.
The next Friends of Lordship meeting will be our Annual General Meeting on Sunday Feb 6th 2pm in the hut by the playground. Due to the extensive restoration work on the rec starting in March 2011, this could be the last time we meet in the hut for some time. It is also the 10th Anniversary of the Friends of Lordship and marks a major turning point for the rec. So please try to come along to the meeting and help make it a good occasion for all of us. As well as all the business we hope to make it a celebration of all the hard work we have done over the past 10 years.
Congratulations to us all!
Bring some food or drink to share if you can.
Best wishes and see you there
