Moselle Water Squad Session

Moselle Water Squad – 18th May, 10am
The Friends of Lordship Rec will be holding its next regular river channel clear up in the Rec with Vic from Thames 21, this Saturday, May 18th, starting at 10.00 am. They will meet up on the path by the second bridge over the Moselle. You should be able to see the van.

There will be the usual work needed at the outflow grille. Rain may have brought more movement of organic matter in the channel to keep us busy there.

Hub Users’ Meeting and AGM

Have your say on the Hub’s priorities for 2024

Hub users and cooperative members will be gathering on SATURDAY 18th MAY, 2-5pm to reflect on what the Hub has achieved in the last year, and discuss priorities for the coming year.
All Hub users are welcome at the event which is a chance to find out more about the Hub and help shape what we do in future.

Meet the team and Q&A

  • meet some of the staff and volunteers who help run the Hub
  • find out how the Hub is run by the community for the community
  • discover how to get involved
  • ask any question
    Users feedback workshop
  • A workshop to gather views on what the Hub has done to date, and what people would like to see the Hub do in future
    Annual general meeting (Hub Cooperative Members only can vote)
  • Q&A from members on the annual report and annual accounts
  • Elections to the cooperatives board
  • Voting on any resolutions from members

TOTTENHAM FLOWER AND PRODUCE SHOW / GREEN FAIR Open planning meeting Wednesday 27th March, 6.30pm Lordship Hub, Lordship Rec N17 6NU

An expanded event this year?

Hi everyone!

Can you help organise this year’s Flower and Produce Show on Saturday September 14th, and even help turn it into a Green Fair?

Each year the Friends of Lordship Rec co-ordinate this fantastic community event with stalls, workshops, activities and the show/competition of things grown, cooked or crafted. Last year we added a small ‘Green Zone’. This year we’re calling for help to ensure it happens again and – if there’s enough support – to expand it into a Tottenham Green Fair.

So if you (and your organisation) think that sounds good plleeeeeeaase come along to the planning meeting. You can help out generally, or with specific activities you are interested in or have the skills for!

Please send your organisation’s support for the event (which we will add to the publicity), plus any ideas, offers of donations (we don’t currently have any funding secured) or other help etc. [Please note that at this stage there’s no need to apply for a stall, or to volunteer on the day itself].
