Lordship Rec Event – Sunday May 28th, 2pm-5pm

From 2pm in Lordship Hub, N17 6NU (by the lake)
Film Showing of ‘River Stories’ a documentary about Pymmes Brook (which flows through eastern Tottenham) and what rivers mean to people.
Talk by Alison Archer, who collaborated on the film, about the work of the Pymmes Brookers.
Talk by John Miles, chair of Haringey Rivers Forum and organiser of the Moselle volunteers in Lordship Rec.
Presentation about river pollution problems and what people can be conscious of and do to avoid it.
We hope to encourage people to become local river champions and to get involved in promoting, protecting and maintaining them through volunteering.
11.30am  Walk along the route of the Moselle – Coombes Croft to Lordship Rec
There is an optional walk along a small stretch of the Moselle towards Lordship Rec, meeting at Coombes Croft Library, Tottenham High Road, N17 8AG at 11.30am. We will end the walk with a short stroll along the bank of Moselle in the Rec with information about the river channel.
