Friends of Lordship Rec – Co-managing the park for the benefit of all park users
Best wishes of the season to all Rec lovers from The Friends of Lordship Rec. This year we were 20yrs old and look forward to another year of success with the help of more volunteers. Join us in 2022 to make our beautiful park even better!

For yet another year, the Friends of Lordship Rec’s Woodland Group have won recognition of their consistently hard work, protecting and maintaining the woodland area and making it safe and enjoyable for park users and wildlife. The Woodland has won the Community Green Flag Award.
A Facebook member posted, “You have all done an amazing job. I always enjoyed Lordship Rec when I was a tot playing in the paddling pools but I love what has replaced them too. You have made the park into a wonderful haven for wildlife and people. Thank you.”
