The Friends and other local groups organise events in the Rec every year. Some of our regular events, which happen if funding becomes available are:
Wassail in January. A celebration of all the trees in the Lordship Rec Orchard, with music and singing and sometimes lantern making for the orchard procession.
The Tottenham Flower and Produce Festival in September, including the Flower and Produce Show which showcases the home growing, home baking and hand crafting of the community. There are stalls, workshops, talks and activities for all ages and celebrated sustainability and caring for our planet.
Blockorama in the main field in Summer. A celebration of Caribbean Culture and steel pan bands.
The Open Shell Event in the Shell Outdoor Theatre with Felt Sound System. Music and skating. This usually happens twice a year in June and September.
Othe groups in our community use the Shell Theatre for music and cultural events throughout the Summer months.
