Contractors will be on site on Tuesday 24th November to carry out vegetation clearance in the Moselle River channel and to clear the trash screen at the Broadwater Farm end and to do the winter siltex application (this is to break down the silt). This work will help the river flow better and wash through some of the unsightly surface. The team should be on site for 2 days arriving mid-morning tomorrow.
This is part of an ongoing yearly maintenance plan that should gradually improve the water quality and enjoyment of the river.
